It’s important to act quickly to protect your interests. Start by gathering all relevant documents and communications related to the dispute. Consider whether the issue can be resolved through direct negotiation or mediation before escalating to court. Early legal advice can help you understand your rights, options, and the best strategy to resolve the matter efficiently and cost-effectively.

Contracts should clearly outline the rights and responsibilities of all parties involved. If you’re unsure, have a legal professional review your agreements to check for ambiguous language, missing clauses, or terms that could expose you to risk. Regularly updating contracts in line with changing laws and business needs also helps avoid disputes down the line.

Protecting your IP starts with confirming ownership and reviewing the scope of protection. If you find potential infringement, document the evidence carefully. Early action might include sending a cease and desist letter or seeking alternative dispute resolution. Legal intervention can prevent further damage and secure your rights.

First, review your partnership agreement to understand each party’s responsibilities. Attempt to resolve the issue through open communication or mediation. If this fails, legal remedies such as enforcing contract terms or pursuing damages may be necessary. Early legal advice helps determine the best course of action.
