Tristan obtained his LLB degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2022. He is an Associate in the Shipping and Maritime Law Department and has experience in cargo claims, cargo dues disputes, carriage contract disputes and commercial lease disputes involving property at the ports. He has further been involved in advising on issues surrounding port infrastructure. Tristan has also acted for, and advised, foreign law firms on ship arrests in South Africa’s territorial waters.
